Direct Dil Se – Vaishali Desai touted as the next Dixit!

Miss India International 2005 Vaishali Desai has barely cut her teeth in Bollywood and she’s already being compared to top stars like Madhuri Dixit and Kareena Kapoor. The buzz is that the compliment comes from the director of Vashu Bhagnani’s Kal Kisne Dekha, Vivek Sharma. Unit sources reported that Desai accepted the compliment with grace, though she was left speechless. Desai said that the cherished compliment gave her morale quite a boost.

The new lady in Bollwood is none other than the grandniece of the renowned film director, Manmohan Desai. The down-to-earth newcomer has credited her family with helping her to stay firmly grounded. A much sought after model, KKD is her first foray into the movie industry. She stars opposite Jackie Bhagnani in KKD.
